July 25th, 2005 was a DAY OUT-OF-TIME ... did you celebrate it?
It was a unique day, not part of a week, nor of a month -- at least not as far as the 13 moon / 28 day calendar is concerned. Sound peculiar? Well, it's as peculiar as a day (Feb 29th) which simply "appears" every fourth year in the wildly popular Gregorian calendar.
The Movement for Calendar Reform follows a different count. Each month begins on the first sliver of the crescent moon and the full moon is always mid-month. Each month represents renewal, a constant cycle of growth and perseverance. In the span of 365 days, there are 13 moon rotations around Earth, hence 13 months per year.
13 months per year, of 28 days each. 13 x 28 = 364. Since it takes our planet 365 days to make one complete revolution around the sun, this leaves one day extra.
Alas, the last day of this year is July 24th and the first day is July 26th. So July 25th is celebrated as a DAY OUT-OF-TIME. Since counted time will not be advancing on that day, each human being on this glorious planet can take a day off, take a breather, take a break, and not worry what "time" it is.
Back to basics. Onward to a heightened connection with the perpetual cycles of the moon, paralleling our biological cycles as women and men.
Time is a sensation, not just a set of numbers to follow...
"Watch the sun rise and set. Watch the moon rise and set. You will feel more deeply, part of a much bigger whole."
